Apache Kafka is an open-source stream-processing software developed by the Apache Software Foundation. The software was first created at LinkedIn, and later donation to the Apache Software Foundation. Apache Kafka is written in Scala and Java and aims to provide a platform for handling real-time data feeds with a high-throughput and low-latency.
