Forex stands for Foreign Exchange and is a collective and commonly used name of the Foreign Exchange Market and its trading activity. Foreign exchange is the process of currency trading, or changing one currency into another. This is mostly done for capital gains, tourism or commerce. The Foreign Exchange Market is a decentralized and global and accessed via markets (exchanges) on the web. Some foreign exchange happens over the counter in airports and shopping districts or by local forex service providers.
