MEAN Stack

The MEAN Stack is a JavaScript development stack used mostly for [full-stack web development]. The stack consists of MongoDB, Express.js, AngularJS and Node.js together creating the acronym MEAN. Sometimes the MEAN Stack is compared with well-known stacks like the LAMP Stack, yet the technology stack is vastly different. The MEAN stack only focus on the higher-level application layer including database, client-side and server-side technologies, and the idea is to write full-stack application in one language, JavaScript.
