React is a free and open-source JavaScript library for building user interfaces. The library was designed and conceived at Facebook back in may 29, 2013. Since then, a community of developers has sprung up around it and React as a tool has become a popular choice for web developers across the world. The component-based nature of React with encapsulated components that manage their own state makes the JavaScript library a good choice for developers and designers building web-based tools and interactive user interfaces.
